Options for Pallet Infeed and Outfeed on Sorma PAL Palletising Machines With some modifications, the Sorma PAL palletising machines offer various options for pallet infeed and outfeed. Depending on the desired level of automation and the number of machines, different solutions can be applied.
Shared Pallet Infeed System
These palletising machines have previously operated with a shared pallet infeed system, consisting of a gantry with a crane and a pallet trolley delivering empty pallets to multiple palletisers. This system is only available as an optional feature – see reference number 16252408003 – and only when purchasing a minimum of three palletisers.
The currently offered palletisers do not come with a standard pallet infeed. The outfeed chain conveyor for full pallets is included as standard. However, without a system for feeding in empty pallets, this outfeed conveyor is not usable.
Options for Feeding in Empty Pallets
1.Manual Infeed with Pallet Jack or Forklift
The simplest method: pallets are manually placed or removed using a pallet jack or forklift.
- The chain conveyor is not used or installed in this setup.
- The plate height must be adjusted to a lower position. This can be done by shifting the chain a few teeth on the sprocket.
- No additional components required.
2.Automatic Infeed via Chain or Roller Conveyor An additional powered chain or roller conveyor is placed in front of the existing outfeed conveyor, on the side of the forming plate and turntable.
- Empty pallets are individually placed onto this conveyor.
- The machine automatically feeds in an empty pallet when needed and discharges full pallets.
- Required modifications: additional chain or roller conveyor + electrical system adjustments in the machine.
3. Fully Automatic Destacking with Pallet Magazine An extension of option 2, including a pallet magazine and pallet destacker.
- A stack of empty pallets is placed in the magazine.
- The destacker automatically feeds single pallets onto the conveyor.
- For this option, collaboration with a specialised Sorma partner is recommended.
4.Central Infeed via Pallet Shuttle for Multiple Machines
- Ideal when placing several palletisers in a row
- A pallet shuttle transports empty pallets from a central point to all machines.
- This is the same system previously used with these palletisers.
- Benefit: used components are available, making the investment affordable.
Optional:
- The pallet warehouse with feed shuttle
- The pallet stock and supply shuttle can be purchased when purchasing at least 3 palletisers.
An automatic palletiser that stacks wood, plastic or cardboard boxes and crates onto pallets. The PAL-108D’s rotating infeed and rollers direct the produce into pre-set configurations for stacking.
After each layer is added, a retractable plate and pneumatic clamps move the next layer into position and lower it into the stacking position.
The PAL-108D can be configured to stack heavy, overweight cartons, unstable boxes and crates, export pallets with differing layer configurations.

Optionen für die Zu- und Abfuhr von Paletten bei Sorma PAL Palettiermaschinen
Mit einigen Anpassungen gibt es für die Sorma PAL Palettiermaschinen verschiedene Möglichkeiten zur Zu- und Abfuhr von Paletten. Abhängig vom gewünschten Automatisierungsgrad und der Anzahl der Maschinen können unterschiedliche Lösungen eingesetzt werden.
Gemeinsames Palettenzufuhrsystem
Diese Palettiermaschinen arbeiteten zuvor mit einem gemeinsamen Palettenzufuhrsystem, bestehend aus einem Portal mit Kran und einem Paletten-Trolley, der leere Paletten zu mehreren Palettiermaschinen brachte. Dieses System ist nur als Zusatzoption verfügbar, siehe Referenznummer 16252408003, wenn Sie mindestens drei Palettiermaschinen abnehmen.
Bei den Palettiermaschinen, wie sie jetzt angeboten werden, ist standardmäßig keine Palettenzufuhr enthalten. Die Abfuhr-Kettenbahn für volle Paletten ist jedoch standardmäßig in der Maschine enthalten. Diese Abfuhr-Kettenbahn ist jedoch ohne Zuführung leerer Paletten nicht nutzbar.

- Die Kettenbahn wird hierbei nicht verwendet und nicht installiert.
- Die Höhe der Platte muss auf eine niedrigere Position angepasst werden. Dies kann durch Umsetzen der Kette auf dem Zahnrad um einige Zähne erfolgen.
- Keine zusätzlichen Bauteile erforderlich.
1. Automatische Zuführung über Ketten- oder Rollenbahn Hierbei wird eine zusätzliche angetriebene Ketten- oder Rollenbahn vor der bestehenden Abfuhrbahn platziert – von der Seite der Formplatte und des Drehtellers aus.
- Leere Paletten werden einzeln auf diese Bahn gelegt.
- Die Maschine zieht automatisch bei Bedarf eine leere Palette ein. Volle Paletten werden automatisch abgeführt.
- Erforderliche Anpassungen: zusätzliche Ketten- oder Rollenbahn + elektrische Anpassung in der Maschine.
1. Vollautomatisches Entstapeln mit Palettenmagazin Eine Erweiterung von Option 2, mit einem Palettenmagazin und einem Palettenentstapler.
- Ein Stapel leerer Paletten wird in das Magazin gestellt.
- Der Entstapler speist automatisch einzelne Paletten auf die Kettenbahn.
- Für diese Option wird die Zusammenarbeit mit einem spezialisierten Sorma-Partner empfohlen.
1. Zentrale Zuführung über Palettenshuttle für mehrere Maschinen Ideal, wenn Sie mehrere Palettiermaschinen nebeneinander in einer Linie aufstellen.
- Ein Palettenshuttle transportiert leere Paletten von einem zentralen Punkt zu allen Maschinen.
- Dieses Zuführsystem wurde bereits früher mit der Palettiermaschine verwendet
- Vorteil: Gebrauchte Komponenten sind verfügbar, wodurch die Investition erschwinglich bleibt.
Optional:
- Das Palettenlager mit der Zuführungsshuttle

Ein automatischer Palettierer, der Kisten und Verschläge aus Holz, Kunststoff oder Karton auf Paletten stapelt. Die rotierende Zuführung und die Rollen des PAL-108D lenken die Produkte in voreingestellte Konfigurationen zum Stapeln. Nach jeder hinzugefügten Lage wird die nächste Lage durch eine einziehbare Platte und pneumatische Klammern in Position gebracht und in die Stapelposition abgesenkt. Der PAL-108D kann so konfiguriert werden, dass er schwere, übergewichtige Kartons, instabile Kisten und Verschläge sowie Exportpaletten mit unterschiedlichen Lagenkonfigurationen stapeln kann.

Opties voor de aan- en afvoer van pallets bij Sorma PAL palletiseermachines
Met enige aanpassingen zijn er voor de Sorma PAL palletiseermachines diverse mogelijkheden voor de aan- en afvoer van pallets. Afhankelijk van de gewenste mate van automatisering en het aantal machines kunnen er verschillende oplossingen worden toegepast.
Gedeeld palletaanvoersysteem
Deze palletiseermachines hebben eerder gewerkt met een gedeeld palletaanvoersysteem, bestaande uit een portaal met kraan en een pallet trolley die lege pallets naar meerdere palletiseermachines bracht.
Dit systeem is alleen beschikbaar als extra optie, zie referentienummer 16252408003, wanneer u minimaal drie palletiseermachines afneemt.
Bij de palletiseermachines zoals deze nu worden aangeboden zit standaard geen palletaanvoer. De afvoerkettingbaan voor volle pallets is standaard inbegrepen bij de machine. Maar deze afvoerkettingbaan is zonder aanvoersysteem van lege pallets niet bruikbaar.
Mogelijkheden voor het invoeren van lege pallets
1. Handmatige invoer met pompwagen of heftruck De eenvoudigste methode: pallets worden individueel op de vloer geplaatst of uitgenomen met een pompwagen of heftruck.
- De kettingbaan wordt hierbij niet gebruikt en niet geïnstalleerd.
- De hoogte van de plaat dient aangepast de worden op een lagere positie. Dit kan door de ketting op het tandwiel enkele tanden te verplaatsen.
- Geen aanvullende onderdelen vereist.
2. Automatische invoer via kettingbaan of rollenbaan Hierbij wordt een extra aangedreven ketting- of rollenbaan vóór de bestaande afvoerbaan geplaatst. Vanuit de kant van de vormplaat en het draaiplateau.
- Lege pallets worden individueel op deze baan gelegd.
- De machine voert automatisch een lege pallet in wanneer nodig. En volle pallets worden automatisch afgevoerd.
- Benodigde aanpassingen: extra ketting- of rollenbaan + elektrische installatie aanpassing in de machine.
3. Volautomatisch ontstapelen met palletmagazijn Een uitbreiding op optie 2, met een palletmagazijn en palletonstapelaar.
- Een stapel lege pallets wordt in het magazijn geplaatst.
- De ontstapelaar voedt automatisch de kettingbaan met losse pallets.
- Voor deze optie is samenwerking met een gespecialiseerd Sorma-partner aanbevolen.
4. Centrale aanvoer via palletshuttle voor meerdere machines Ideaal wanneer u meerdere palletiseermachines naast elkaar plaatst in één lijn.
- Een palletshuttle transporteert lege pallets vanuit één centraal punt naar alle machines.
- Deze aanvoersysteem is zoals de palletiseermachine eerder heeft gewerkt.
- Voordeel: onderdelen zijn gebruikt beschikbaar, waardoor de investeringen betaalbaar zijn.
Optie:
- Het palletmagazijn met aanvoershuttle
- De palletvoorraad en toevoershuttle kunnen worden aangeschaft bij aankoop van ten minste 3 palletisers.
Een automatische palletiseermachine die houten, plastic of kartonnen dozen en kratten op pallets stapelt.
