Exceptional Performance The 312D hydraulic system increases efficiency and performance with 2% more hydraulic pressure for improved lifting and digging forces. Auxiliary hydraulic lines and wiring are routed at the base of the boom, making hydraulic circuits easier to install. This compact design reduces line lengths, which reduces friction and pressure drops, making power more efficient. Hydraulic snubbers at the rod end of the boom cylinders and both ends of the stick cylinders dampen vibration, reduce noise and extend cylinder life. When controls are not in operation, flow is reduced to a minimum to reduce fuel consumption and extend component life. Electronic Underspeed Control electronically regulates pump output so it does not exceed engine power, eliminating the need to store engine power to prevent engine stalling. The hydraulic cross-sensing system fully supplies engine power from both hydraulic pumps under all operating conditions, increasing productivity with faster implement speeds and faster, more powerful pivot turns.
